Description
After the Classic Greats of Greek and Roman times, theater in Western Europe seemed to disappear. Why? And how did it re-emerge? Explore with me how the theater was reborn within monasteries and churches. How it moved back into the streets. Learn about Medieval Special effects, how we know what we know, and the volume of work we have recovered, including the so far very first acknowledged medieval play. Then see how we move away from the community efforts of play and the birth of theater as a profession.
