Description
The Bocksten Cote is merely a single example of a type of advanced t-tunic that was in use throughout Europe in the early to high Middle Ages. Although the original cote was made for a man, women wore a similar garment, which will be discussed. This class covers the history, construction, and fitting. Each student will be measured and a pattern drafted out for them to take home and use. If time permits, a pattern for the matching hood will be available to copy. Students are asked to bring a tape measure
