Students must be 21 or older to participate. Students are requested to bring an unopened 12-20oz commercial bottle of water. No other materials or fees required.This class puts into practice the methods and concepts of meade and wine making. Students will examine, measure, and create fermentable/fermenting wine and meade samples to monitor and observe on their own (take home) on completion of the class. lab work and dicussion will cover yeasts, wort (fermentables) measuring (triple-scale hygrometer), and methods used in the mead and wine making process. This class is designed for beginner to novice meade and wine makers.10% lecture, 90% Hands-on class.
