Description
Tips, tricks, and pitfalls of researching early period and/or lower class cultures, where few if any extants may be available for review. Author's research on Imperial Roman (14BC - 500AD) and Viking Age Gotland (750AD - 900 AD) finds will serve as examples, with additional guidelines gleaned from colleagues with backgrounds in anthropology, archaeology, museum management, and artifact preservation.
