Description
This class will provide an in-depth overview of wool hatmaking in post-Reconquista Spain, as well as an introduction to creating knitted and fulled headwear for men or women. Class includes handout with patterns. Skill level and equipment: Students should be able to knit, purl, increase and decrease stitches, and work with double-pointed needles in the round. Students should bring 5 US size-10 double-pointed needles and a skein of 100% worsted weight wool in any color.
