Instructor's Kingdom: Atlantia, Time Zone: EST
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
A great deal of research has been done in recent years about English War Arrows thanks to the artifacts gathered from the Mary Rose. This class will cover the particulars on construction of period English war arrows and how they differ from arrows for other purposes. This will include points, profiles of shafts and materials used on original arrows as well as information from chemical analysis of surviving arrows. We will also briefly cover some other archery items found on the Mary Rose such as arrow bags and bracers.
