Description
Have you tried to make a medieval garment only to feel like you're wearing a sofa's worth of fabric in all the wrong places? Have you looked at pattern designs for ""one size fits all"" and wondered where your size fits? This class will talk about how to successfully measure and draft patterns for those with ""non-standard"" body shapes. Huge tracts of land? Junk in the trunk? Buddha belly? We can handle it all! Be prepared for an honest discussion of all the beautiful body shapes we have and how to accessorize them best. Participants will leave with a worksheet for measuring and making a basic tunic/dress as well as tips for hose/pants.
