The Process of Making Gouda: From Milk to pressed cheese. Students can come and go throughout the day to see the basics of making a semi-hard cheese. Part 1 consists of equipment discussion, prepping, and additives to make cheese happen including Rennet at 11. 4 Cheeses will be produced which can be split and taken home. Participantants should plan on coming for the 10am, 12 noon and 4:30pm sessions to be "eligible" to take home a cheese. Pressings are not required attendance, but students should plan on seeing the process at some point in the afternoon.
