Description
This practical session will teach the student the basics of working with silk and metal threads. The kit will produce a tudor rose learning the following stitches: Tent Stitch in silk, Reverse Chain using metal and Gilt Silk Twist and the 4 legged spider using metal thread. The class comes with a printed handout and kit to practice stitches. Please bring your own embroidery hoop and scissors if you have them. Loaners are available if not. Sit in students with their own equipment are welcome. ($5 for the kit. $1 for handout only.)
