Description
"During the construction of my sweet bag I learned various techniques to construct a variety of trimmings for the bag. This hands on class will teach you to construct your own gold gimp thread. Create a simple knot from gimp thread. This knot will lead us into the class of knots known as turks head. Finally, we'll end with a finger loop braid known as the Grene Dorge or French string. To see examples of what we'll be learning visit this link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/8373433@N02/sets/72157644413608712/ The class includes a handout and kit to make all trimmings. Anyone is welcome to audit the class"
