Description
Your sewing machine doesn't have a good buttonhole attachment? Mine neither! Learn different ways to sew eyelets and buttonholes by hand, and also to decide which method works best with the garment and fabric you are sewing. We will examine the range of construction methods found on extant clothing and consider how (and a little bit of why) they change over time. We will then explore what tools will help you make the most crisp and beautiful eyelets and buttonholes, and practice some of the stitching techniques.
