An archaeology-based survey of foods consumed by the Anglo-Saxons, Anglo-Scandinavian Vikings, and Celts, showing what can be learned about diet and nutrition in these populations from both artefacts recovered in excavation and the study of the skeletal remains of the people of Britain. Handout contains charts on plants and animals known from excavation and illustrations of diet-based skeletal conditions.
