Being a good cook is only a starting point. There are many good cooks in the SCA; fewer good feast cooks. Planning, pricing, pacing, preperation , presentation, are just some of the things a head cook needs to be able to do well. We will cover the logistics side of feast cooking, from menu planning, to site considerations, to shopping, to crew assembly, to precook, to presenting, and finally to cleanup and follow up.
