" I made a tunic, but I want something more fitted. Now what?" You have come to the right place! We will make a pattern for a fitted kirtle, also known as a petticoat bodies. This can be worn on its own, or as an underdress with many different later period dresses. All you need are basic sewing skills. Supply list : Basic sewing notions: pins, marking pencil or pen, tape measure and scissors. We will draft the basic bodice pattern, and discuss finishing techniques, ways to attach the skirt, how to close your bodice and different ways to hem the skirt.
