Description
The class will cover what enameling is, provide examples of historical enameling work, and include a demonstration of cloisonné, champlevé and (if time allows) basse-taille enameling. The two primary methods of applying enamel, sifting and wet-packing, will also be demonstrated. The intent of the class is to demystify enameling and provide the student with sufficient information to go out and start their life-long learning process with the art of enameling.
