This class will teach students the basic philosophy, some history, and the fundamental processes in creating alcoholic beverages using honey to make mead. Theory and practices learned here can easily translate into making other mediums such as wine, beer, and hard sodas or ciders. This is a hands-on class involving students to mix, measure, observe, and be involved in the mead making process.
