This is a hands on class on the construction of the Dublin Cap. This simple to construct 10th Century headwear was a common head covering that was not only practical but pretty as well. Students will receive a kit with everything they need to construct the cap and instructions on the basic pattern, variances and stitches used to construct. Students should have an understanding of hand sewing stitches but only basic stitches are utilized and easily picked up by beginners. Children are welcome with a parent to supervise and guide. $5 donation requested but not required.
