Description
Mamluk caps were worn throughout Egypt/Mid East during the 14-15th centuries. These fun caps can be heavily embroidered, quilted, or a combination. This class will provide a brief history of these caps, discuss the variety of styles of extant pieces, and provide a brief how-to for some out-of-ordinary embroidery/construction stitches.
