Description
In this class we will continue exploring shadows and how to render them in 2D while creating the illusion of 3D. We will be dealing with shadows in color and more complex in shape than during the previous class. We will explore aspects that affect the depth and color of shadows and how translucency/transparency of objects affect shadows. The goal of the class is to develop a critical and analytical eye to shadows and use the knowledge to be able to render believable shadows even when you do not have an example to look at and copy from. We will take a peak at some period examples and maybe even critique some of them.
