Description
Hoods were an important part of a medieval person's wardrobe among all class levels. They were worn for protection from the elements as well as for fashion. In this class, we will learn to take measurements in order to draft and create a personalized hood pattern appropriate for the 14th century. Each student will leave with their own basic hood pattern on gridded paper! Please bring a measuring tape if you have one. Class fee covers handouts and I will have extras. (I will have as many supplies as I can muster, but its easier to bring your own!)
