Votives were offerings that helped people connect with local divinities for the purpose of good luck, good health or favor in accomplishing a goal. These objects can be found across many cultures, time periods, and filling museum displays across the globe. This class focuses on anatomical votives such as limbs, hair, viscera and genitals in classical antiquity. **This class may not be appropriate for children.
