Description
This class will give students an underlying theory, as well as models and organizers to better document original text. Original writing in the SCA exists on a middle ground between historical recreation and modern sensibility, and this class will cover some of the challenges of documenting original text, and provide solutions that make documentation engaging and supportive of our art. Will this class, your audience will be excited to read your documentation, and will understand why your imagery is actually a careful match to period exemplars! A model "finished product" that we will be dissecting and creating an organizer from can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DkK4rOshHzpwIBhbNy-W6zWtigEIkounu3R7s8KPCF4/edit?usp=sharing
