Description
In the British Library there is a 10thc illuminated manuscript of the Psychomachia, a poem of almost 1000 lines by the 5thc Roman poet Prudentius. The Psychomachia is describes the challenges of vices and virtues for the human soul in a battle style. This manuscript has very interesting illuminations of horse barding that I have yet to see anywhere else and want to examine closer — with you!— as I contemplate recreating it for an eventual persona pentathlon. This class will not be recorded.
