Description
A closer look at how gold threads were used in medieval embroidery, with a primary focus on goldwork embroidery as seen in the shimmering backgrounds of Opus Anglicanum. Class will include a lecture, followed by a demonstration, with which you are welcome to stitch along. This class is intended for experienced/advanced embroiderers.
