This class is a basic overview of the craft of hand-stitching clothing and textiles in the 15th and 16th century. We'll begin with an overview of the tools every sewist should have on hand - and then review how to execute some of the most common hand stitches and garment construction techniques used in the 15th and 16th centuries. Although not necessary, if you want to follow along, have needle, thread, and some fabric scraps on hand!
