Description
This class will be an introduction to the Roman poet Ovid's Heroides, the first work in the "canon" of Western Literature to feature entirely female narrative voices. We will also use it as a bridge to discussion of the ways that female narratives are changed, erased, or excluded from classical and modern media. There will be a handout provided, and you will need it in order to fully participate! Try to make sure you have it before the class starts! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hgx-FNK_7WKKk9cuxbMDjHqcmhvvy_hRAFH5Tbnh6rE/edit?usp=sharing
