Description
Advanced Commedia dell' Arte research: This class will present research on historic commedia erotica and other mature content found in various commedia frescos, paintings, performance, culture, and scenarios. Entertainment 400-500 years ago had no "PG-13" ratings, so this class will discuss the material in historic Commedia that modern audiences would have rated for "mature audiences". As an instructor, I will make my best effort to start from the least vulgar/sexual/erotic and sometimes disgusting (by modern standards) topics and continue onward to the increasingly more vulgar/sexual/erotic and sometimes disgusting content, so students can leave the class at a time of their choosing if they wish. NO CHILDREN UNDER 18 WILL BE ALLOWED IN THIS CLASS! NO EXCEPTIONS!
