Description
This class will expand on my entry for Aethelmearc Kingdom A&S. I will cover the origin of the French hood, its precursors and early variations, parts of the French hood, materials, and construction theories and techniques. I will show my reconstructions of different types of French hood, including some additions outside the scope of my original A&S project. Students will come away with enough information to make their own versions. This class will not be recorded. Here is the link for the slides today, but please don't share it beyond this, just use it for yourself. Slides 3 and 4 have lists of the sources I was talking about today. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1tRiOeJEAUT3FT-fR5bc04Rm2DnILr8WgFv9wkvTv8eU/edit?usp=sharing
