Description
Join Eleanor in a deep dive into Skirret (Sium sisarum), the forgotten root vegetable of pre-1600's Europe. Based on her research that won Kingdom A&S for An Tir, we will explore the botany and history of skirret, including its usage from Roman to modern times throughout Europe. Eleanor will also share highlights and learnings from her 6+ years experience in growing, harvesting, propagating, and cooking skirret.
