Description
We'll discuss the works of medieval women physicians and natural scientists who lived in European Abbeys during the High Middle Ages. The main focus of this class is Hildegard of Bingen and Herrad of Landsberg plus others as time allows. A basic understanding of humoral theory is recommended but not required. This class will be recorded barring any technical issues and class participants will be asked to turn off video and utilize the chat function if they do not wish to be recorded. Class size is limited.
