Description
This will be a candid discussion of Arts & Sciences Competitions in the SCA - their benefits, their drawbacks, and their pitfalls. Whether you are an A&S competitions veteran, new to competitions, just curious about them, or even someone who wouldn't be caught dead participating in one, this class will give you a better understanding of why competitions work the way that they do, what the expectations are of you as an entrant, and what you, as an entrant, should expect in return. The instructor is the recently appointed Deputy KMoAS for Competitions in the Kingdom of Atlantia, and has also held the corresponding position in the Kingdom of the Outlands. This class will be recorded.
