Description
Headbands are the decorative stitching along the top and bottoms of the edge of many book styles. We will briefly have an over view of how a gothic books is made, and then focus specifically on headbands and how to sew the stitch. To participate please have approx. 12-18" of cotton twine or cord (like kitchen cotton cord), 2 colors of embroidery floss approximately 1 yard of each, 2 needle with medium to large eyes (large enough for the embroidery floss), and one 5x7 piece of matt board/thin cardboard/foam board/chop board type material.
