Description
Conflict is a fact of life, even in the SCA. It can be between combatants on the field, members of an event staff or royal staff, SCA group officers, a peer and a dependent, or just between two SCAdians who just don't get along, once conflict happens, it can be resolved by the people involved, or an impartial party, but in each case, there are specific techniques and methods that can be used to help find resolution. In this class, we will discuss these specific methodologies and techniques. This is not just a lecture class; attendees will be requested to participate in exercises and scenarios, some of which will be asked of the participants. That means that we'd like you to keep your cameras on for interaction. Handout will be provided via Google Docs. While this class will be recorded, all participants will specifically have the right to say "please remove my part in this exercise" before any recording is made available for viewing, and it will be edited to each participants' satisfaction.
