Description
Feeling lonely in your Barony or Shire? Not sure how to get things going? This class will "walk" you through the practical steps to getting a small group going in your local area for garb walks, picnics, overnighters and skills shares. We will cover outreach, event planning, and accessibility, as well as lessons learned from nearly three years running the Stierbach Saunterers in Northern Atlantia. We will also talk about how to start a Baronial Forest, which is what can naturally grow from such sauntering groups, and what the Kingdom of Atlantia Royal Forestry Guild requires to charter such local groups. It's not as hard as you think, and it's a lot of fun. We get out and live in our gear and garb in a way that many in the Society never get to experience. Class WILL be recorded.
