Description
Organizing an event in the SCA includes a range of activities, depending on the event itself - a local event? a kingdom event? one-day? camping? known-world event? Each of these types of events has unique requirements, and managing multiple moving parts can be stressful for an event steward. Project management places an emphasis on planning and communications, and the use of tool templates to manage multiple aspects of an event. This class introduces the application of project management principles to support team-based event planning, and service development for newer stewards. Join us, as we discuss what project management is, and how we can use it to improve planning events and managing event staff.
