You will be given the techniques to accomplish Bead Embroidery on a PRE-MADE COIF ( Complete before class) learning the Bead Embroidery stitch, couching and working in size 15 seed beads for a beautiful embellished COIF. A Historical reference handout will be included. A supply list will be emailed and a Coif pattern will be sent to complete your tudor/elizabethan style coif before class. This technique can be used in other garment forms and hat embellishments. We will discuss the history of the bead before we begin showing that beads and pearls reach far back in history and were used consistently to embellish garments and hats.
