The University of Atlantia is dedicated to the advancement of teaching in the Kingdom of Atlantia, SCA, Inc. Degrees presented by the University of Atlantia are not awards of the Society for Creative Anachronism or any of its branches and do not convey SCA precedence. We are therefore pleased to be able to offer degrees to qualifying students and faculty across the Knowne World.
There are two to three University sessions each year. If you are interested in hosting a University, please refer to our bid guidelines.

The University of Atlantia Winter Session (#121) will be part of the Tri-Kingdom University (TKU) sponsored by Lochac, Drachenwald, and Atlantia. This is going to be a single day of around-the-world classes beginning in Lochac, continuing in Drachenwald, and concluding in Atlantia. (See our time zone framework at: https://tinyurl.com/2n6matus). Note that we are using the 24:00 clock for all times in all announcements to ensure consistency and avoid confusion.
If you would like to teach in the Lochac portion of the event, send your class proposal directly to the Honourable Nicola de Coventre (chancellor@university.lochac.sca.org).
If you would like to teach in the Drachenwald portion of the event, submit your proposal at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScrnJYTwTwlMP_KMncCCMdRKEZGGY87WtpA48WFad6PbJig3Q/viewform.
Those wishing to teach in the Atlantia portion should use the class proposal form (https://university.atlantia.sca.org/unionly/register.php) or email their proposal to the Registrar (registrar@university.atlantia.sca.org) and provide the information as listed on the University of Atlantia “How to Instruct at University” web page (https://university.atlantia.sca.org/teach.php).
The deadline for class submissions to all three Universities is January 18, 2026. The catalog will be prepared and posted as soon as possible thereafter.
Our three Universities actively encourage you to share your knowledge in any and all portions of this exceptional opportunity to interact with others around the globe. The TKU will take place in the Great Hall of Atlantia for the entire event. All classes will be in named breakout rooms. There will be breakout rooms assigned for social activities as well.
The TKU will open in Lochac at 10:00 AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time) on Saturday February 7, 2026 (midnight CET [Central European Time] on Saturday, February 7 and 18:00 EST [US Eastern Standard Time] on Friday, February 6).
The TKU will continue in Drachenwald at 9:00 CET (19:00 AEDT and 3:00 EST). The TKU will continue in Atlantia at 12:00 EST (18:00 CET and 4:00 AEDT on Sunday, February 8).
There will be a centralized website courtesy of Drachenwald. The address will be provided as soon as possible to ensure we have a common source of information.
FOR THOSE FAMILIAR WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ATLANTIA, we are doing a few things differently this session:
· Saturday class offerings will start and end later than usual for the University of Atlantia to accommodate the full day and coordinate with our counterparts.
· There will be no Sunday session due to the commitments of University staff to support the day-long online event.
· We are not requiring preregistration to attend classes. However, we strongly encourage it. If you preregister, then we have your contact information on file and are able to ensure that you get all announcements regarding the TKU and your classes.
· All classes will take place in breakout rooms. We regret any inconvenience to instructors, but we anticipate a large turnout. We wish to minimize confusion in directing our students to the right place for their classes and the need for staff to resolve issues.
· We will be offering student and instructor credit to participants in the Lochac and Drachenwald portions of the TKU provided the participant has an account with the University of Atlantia. Anyone from anywhere can have an account by signing up (https://university.atlantia.sca.org/unionly/register.php) Having an account means you may earn “credits” that count toward University of Atlantia degrees and virtual badges (see our FAQs for more information at https://university.atlantia.sca.org/faq.php). However, you do not need an account to teach or take classes in the Atlantian portion of the day.
Deadline for TRACK proposals is January 18, 2026.
Deadline for INDIVIDUAL CLASS proposals is January 18, 2026.
